Shiva Sheaths

Postby ZKK » Tue Jun 12, 2012 6:53 am

Dig it guys! I made a knife for a guy and it turns out he's a bit of a leather artisan! He lives near me and informed me he will take some orders now, he just got out of the military and has a bit of time on his hands. I am having him make a couple sheaths for my new models so I can offer leather or kydex.
His work is true art, this one is in oxblood.

The attachment straps named Shiva straps allow for vertical or horizontal carry. The sheath can also be strapped to molle webbing. The metal loop at the rear allows for a belt loop attachment. With the straps a fire steel or small pouch can be attached. Just great, he put a lot of thought into it.

Very very attractive. Looks very rugged and robust. Definatly something I would use.
Knife looks functional and mean as well!
Maybe have a fire steel strike spot right after the choil or on the spine? would be an awsome feature to an already kickass tool
Does he do Hatchet/Axe/Tomohawk scabbards?

He can do pretty much whatever you like. He also has pouches and fire steel attachments similar to the hedgehog sheaths. When I get an 4.5" blade Apache that I get to keep I'll have him make a sheath for it.
