What do you want this holster to be used for? If you're going to be taking it on and off throughout the day, say in a situation where you can't carry at work and need to take off your holster to stow your gun in your car, then I'd suggest a more "traditional" kydex holster like a Comp-Tac Infidel, Galco Trident, etc. These companies usually have these holsters in stock and have a quick turnaround time for delivery. I personally carry my M&P9c in a Double Tap MKII holster because I wanted a holster that was as thin and concealable as possible. I also have a Double Tap Advanced Trigger Shield which is like a Glock MIC holster with a belt clip attached. Both of these have been amazing holsters for me. If you're looking for a holster that you'll wear all day then a hybrid holster like the Crossbreed Supertuck, Galco King Tuk, Disantis Intruder, Theis, and SHTF are all good companies to look into. Again, Galco and Disantis are going to have these in stock and you won't have to wait (can you tell I'm aggressively impatient when it comes to getting my online orders?) as long as you would for a Crossbreed, SHTF, or Theis. There are a myriad of options for M&P Compacts out there so do some research and find the one that's right for you. Most companies will let you return or a full refund if you wear it for a week and find you don't like it.
